|H&M jacket, necklace and leggings, Zara heels and Mac Russian Red on the lips.|
- Silk? More like cheap polyester fabric. *Sigh* My life as a fabric snob is a hard one.
- Leather? More like some cheap hybrid of plastics to create an uncomfortable environment not unlike sausage casing around you legs and crotch.
- Yeah I bought the lovely Zara heels I've seen on many gorgeous fashionistas online. Not wanting to miss my part of the fun, I got them. Cue toe slicing action. Do you ladies really wear them all day? Or just for photos? Really, I won't judge you if it's the latter. Okay, I'll judge you a tiny bit, only if you want us to think that you have feet of steel and no longer feel pain when wearing uncomfortable shoes.
- This is one of my most favourite outfits I've ever worn. I guess I'll never learn.

Fashion over beauty anyway for me, but I do have a certain weakness for lipsticks. The ones that grab me are the matte shades - the more matte and deeper the colour, the better. Too glossy and I feel like my lips are in danger of looking like an over-botoxed trout pout going for a night on the town. I thought it'd be good to address some beauty on this here blog so here's my latest love. Cream Lip Stain from Sephora is one of those products I'm surprised I haven't heard about before.
I bought in in pink because most of the matte pinks out there are too pale and end up making me look as though I'm having an image crisis so this one was a winner (colour 03). It's like a paint consistency and goes on wet, but dries in a few moments to give this stunning effect. It stays on really well, but you've got to be quick and steady with this product. Apply carefully in an even way to avoid schizophrenic lips.
Schizophrenic lips. Bet you'll never find that in a beauty guide.
J'aime le rouge velouté sans transfert de Sephora. Je l'ai acheté en colore 03.

Honestly one of the best meals I've knocked up in a while. I boiled up some 'taters to go with it, but once I'd plated up I didn't think I'd need the extra bulk and boy was I right! I added the broccoli later and fries them for a while and then put the broccoli, chicken, onions, garlic, chilli and ginger on top on some lamb's lettuce and rocket.

I have a real love-hate relationship with H&M. I can count the numerous occasions that I've been innocently window shopping only to succumb to the tight grasp of fast fashion and reasonable pricing. 'OH MAH GAD, IS THAT A SPANDEX JUMPSUIT WITH BELLS ON FOR ONLY £5??!?!?' Only to get home, wear the said thing twice and then have it relegated to the cobwebs of my unnecessarily cluttered wardrobe. In a shop such as H&M, I have to be measured and calm - it's one of the few places (bar Primarni) that I can walk into and afford everything... unlike Topshop/Zara. I can never spend crazy in Topshop unless I like the feeling of sharing a cardboard box with a fellow homeless person.
Anyhoo, I popped in today to browse and saw these lovely items. I honestly can't remember the last time I bought a dress, let alone a bright, pretty one, so I thought 'what the hey - go for it'. I plan to wear it in a non-pretty way, i.e with boots/brogues/biker, you know that combo. The cream blazer I've been hunting for a while, and whilst it may not be the best quality, I do like the boxy 'anti-fit' of it.
This is what I wore today... it was sunny and I wore grey and black *sigh*. I can't wait to move back home and delve into my summer wardrobe! I say 'summer wardrobe' like I have a plethora of easy, breezy colourful garments to adorn my sun kissed body, but really English Summers are not worth spending lots of cash on. Ah well, I promise you, I do wear colours! Which shop do you have a love/hate relationship with?
