'Bienvenue chez H et M'

I have a real love-hate relationship with H&M. I can count the numerous occasions that I've been innocently window shopping only to succumb to the tight grasp of fast fashion and reasonable pricing. 'OH MAH GAD, IS THAT A SPANDEX JUMPSUIT WITH BELLS ON FOR ONLY £5??!?!?' Only to get home, wear the said thing twice and then have it relegated to the cobwebs of my unnecessarily cluttered wardrobe. In a shop such as H&M, I have to be measured and calm - it's one of the few places (bar Primarni) that I can walk into and afford everything... unlike Topshop/Zara. I can never spend crazy in Topshop unless I like the feeling of sharing a cardboard box with a fellow homeless person.

Anyhoo, I popped in today to browse and saw these lovely items. I honestly can't remember the last time I bought a dress, let alone a bright, pretty one, so I thought 'what the hey - go for it'. I plan to wear it in a non-pretty way, i.e with boots/brogues/biker, you know that combo. The cream blazer I've been hunting for a while, and whilst it may not be the best quality, I do like the boxy 'anti-fit' of it.

This is what I wore today... it was sunny and I wore grey and black *sigh*. I can't wait to move back home and delve into my summer wardrobe! I say 'summer wardrobe' like I have a plethora of easy, breezy colourful garments to adorn my sun kissed body, but really English Summers are not worth spending lots of cash on. Ah well, I promise you, I do wear colours! Which shop do you have a love/hate relationship with?
